Application Maintenance and Support

Go-live is the beginning of support, not the end of the relationship.

The costliest phase of a system's life is the one nobody quotes for. Dependencies age, certificates expire, the hosting renews, a browser update breaks a form, and a small change request sits unactioned because there is no route for it. Maintenance is the service that keeps all of that from accumulating — on systems we built, and on systems we inherited.

The full breakdown. Not every item applies to every engagement — scope is agreed against your requirement.

The change request process

Request, analyse, estimate, approve, implement, test, deploy, close.

  • Change requests are assessed separately from routine maintenance
  • Effort and timeline are shared before any work starts
  • Work begins only after your approval
  • Every approved change is tested
  • Production changes follow the controlled deployment procedure

Scope and limits

What we will not claim.

These are on the page deliberately. A service description that only makes promises is the one that produces an argument later.

  • Support does not include unlimited free modifications. Routine maintenance is covered by the contract; new functionality and scope changes are handled as change requests with effort agreed in advance.
